Just starting out as a nurse and not quite sure what you should have or what you should bring along with you on your shift, then this is the list for you! Essentially, I would like to carry my nursing gear in what I like to refer to as my nursing go-bag.
Basically it’s the bag or backpack that you carry with you to and from your shifts at work and contains all of the necessary equipment items and any common things that help get you through the day as a neonatal nurse.
Now the bag itself is as important as the things you plan on putting in it, but really any bag will do, whatever fits you style and works for your purpose. Anything from a large purse to something like a bicycle backpack, or a messenger bag. Again, it really all depends on your personal style and if it’s functional for its intended purpose.
